AeroWorx, the aviation industry’s leader of pneumatic, hydraulic, electromechanical and fuel system repair and overhaul services, recently promoted internal employee Michael Priolo to Manager of Quality Control and Engineering. His primary role will be to ensure the company continues to meet and exceed quality standards set by the FAA, EASA, ISO and other relevant organizations.

Moving into this new position is a natural fit for Priolo, since he’s been managing the engineering department for the last year. With Priolo’s eagle-eyes for detail and quality in engineering, he is thrilled to take the next step in continuing to deepen the bounds of the Quality Management systems at AeroWorx.

“I come from the engineering world where we want to see things work out ‘by the book.’ I’m looking forward to seeing how we engage the standards and how we work with the systems that are already in place. We have an established quality system that captures what customers want. I’m going to be pressing to keep that intact and continue to move us forward, working with the team, to continue to serve our customers.”

Priolo enters as a manager into a well-established system that always needs upkeep as certifications inevitably get changed and slightly tweaked. Since AeroWorx is certified in Aerospace AS9110 and also ISO 9001:2015 certified, Priolo will have much to work with as he continues to take the company to the next frontier of quality and excellence.

“I am grateful for the opportunity and thankful to work with a team that is reaffirming their confidence in my participation in this company. I’m thankful for the opportunity and look forward to making the most of it.”
