Company news

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was established to help break down international trade barriers. For businesses, the organization provides guidelines to ensure that their products and services consistently meet the needs and requirements of their customers. AS9110: 2009 is a specific standard developed for and by Aerospace professionals.  This standard specifies additional quality requirements for aerospace maintenance organizations. In order to become certified, AeroWorx must be audited annually. This past month, ISO performed their annual audit at AeroWorx.

The extensive two day audit resulted in zero findings and the renewal of AeroWorx ISO 9001: 2008 and AS9110:2009 Quality Management Systems certification.  With this renewed certification, AeroWorx will be able to show customers that the company is committed to quality. Utilizing vendors that are certified will essentially cut costs when performing vendor audits.

AeroWorx is a dual release FAA and EASA authorized repair station located in Torrance, California.  Quality is a top priority at AeroWorx. AeroWorx complies with all AS9110 and ISO9001:2008 requirements and continues to improve quality and turnaround for its customers. For more details, please visit www.aero-worx.com/certifications
